The Brain and Spine Center Clinic has been nothing short of a wonderful experience! Of the many excellent qualities, the first that pops into my mind is the friendly and collaborative atmosphere at the clinic. Everyone from the medical assistant to the nurse practitioners and Dr. Pandey works together to provide quality patient care. Everyone communicates efficiently to provide excellent service to the patients.
Additionally, they put patient service at the forefront of their philosophy. From what it seems like every appointment is scheduled to be 15 minutes; however, the nurse practitioners and Dr. Pandey have no problem exceeding well beyond that limit to ensure the patient has all their questions answered effectively! They never regard any patient’s concerns or questions as uninformed and will do their best to provide them with excellent information. On top of all that, BSC will provide information on how to tackle a problem that they may not necessarily be best suited for by referencing other clinics and centers to the patient. Overall, the BSC is the place for any patient experiencing neurological problems and wants a clinic that will genuinely care for their needs! -Achintya Sai
I shadowed at the Brain and Spine Center, and it was a really great experience. The staff ensures that you are able to see all areas of a neurology clinic, and all the providers were very engaged and caring with me. Dr. Pandey made sure to explain any condition, procedure, or scan that was pertinent to the patient, so definitely a lot was learned. Lastly, the patient care that was provided was top notch. The providers and staff were very good in completing all the patient’s requests, and putting the patient first. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone that is interested in shadowing there. – Rohan Patel
The Brain and Spine Center was a perfect rotation to round out my medical school education. Everyone at the office is warm and inviting, and willing to let students take on as much as they want to learn. Not only did I practice taking history and presenting patients, but I also gained invaluable exposure to a wide variety of neurological conditions and their related physical exam findings, which I didn’t get to experience on any other rotation. Dr Pandey makes sure you feel comfortable in the environment, teaches you what he wants you to know, and tailors your experience to your specialty of interest—he honestly could not be a nicer person. I also performed and assisted on procedures like trigger point injections, Botox, and skin biopsies. I would recommend the rotation to every one of my peers. – Luke Stouts
